Our Story

Pet Sitting 4 Comfort® LLC was founded in 2016 by the husband-wife team of Steve San Miguel and Hong-An Huynh. With years of experience in pet sitting and specialized training in veterinary and behavioral care, our mission is to provide the highest quality care for your pets. Our dedication to the well-being of your pets stems from our own love for animals and the joy they bring to our lives.

Steve San Miguel

Role: Co-Founder & Lead Pet Care Specialist
Background: Steve’s journey in the veterinary field started at Cherrydale Veterinary Clinic (2011-2016), where he gained extensive experience in animal care and emergency procedures. His dedication to pet health and his ability to teach pet parents how to care for their pets at home are key components of our service.
Education: Pursuing a degree in Business Management at NOVA.
Certifications: Certified Professional Pet Sitter (PSI), Fear Free Certified® Professional, Pet Tech® CPR/First Aid trained, certified dog and cat trainer.
Expertise and Commitment:
- Veterinary Care: Extensive experience in veterinary care, especially with special needs pets.
- Behavioral Training: Skilled in behavioral training and creating stress-free environments for pets.
- Ongoing Education: Currently pursuing certifications as a pet massager to offer comprehensive care services.
- Client Education: Passionate about teaching pet parents the best practices for at-home care.

Hong-An Huynh

Role: Co-Founder & Pet Care Specialist
Background: Hong complements Steve's veterinary expertise with her strong background in customer service and administration. Her experience in a dental office, a grocery store, and a law firm has honed her ability to connect with clients and manage their needs efficiently.
Education: Pursuing a degree in Business Administration at NOVA.
Certifications: Certified Professional Pet Sitter (NAPPS), Certified veterinary assistant, Pet Tech® CPR/First Aid trained.
Expertise and Commitment:
- Client Relations: Exceptional skills in client communication and service management.
- Veterinary Assistance: Certified veterinary assistant with hands-on experience in animal care.
- Ongoing Education: Enrolled in the Fear Free Veterinary Certificate Program to stay current with the best practices in pet care.
- Holistic Approach: Dedicated to creating a seamless and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners.

Community Involvement

Giving back to the community is a core part of our values. We volunteer once a month at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington's community care clinics, where Steve contributes his skills as a vet tech to help animals in need. It’s our way of supporting the community that supports us. Additionally, we participate in local animal rescue events and share their events in our monthly newsletter to our email subscribers.
