What Is the PS4C Emergency Pet Taxi?
This service is available only for current clients and is used during an active pet sitting or dog walking visit when a pet shows signs of distress or illness.
We provide:
✔ Private, direct transport to your vet or nearest emergency clinic
✔ Fear Free handling by certified caregivers
✔ GPS-tracked rides with real-time updates via the Time To Pet portal
✔ Insured vehicle equipped with pet crates, seatbelt harnesses, and first aid gear
When Is Emergency Transport Used?
We act quickly if your pet shows signs such as:

Collapse, disorientation, or lethargy

Vomiting, diarrhea, or concerning changes in behavior

Swelling, limping, or minor cuts

Seizure activity or neurological signs
-
Allergic reactions or breathing difficulty
If life-threatening and you're unreachable, we follow your emergency care plan and transport to the nearest ER listed in your signed Veterinary Release Form.
Medical Taxi (Standard, Non-Emergency)
Used only during a scheduled visit for same-day, non-urgent transport:

One-way ride to your vet

Emergency Transport (Pet in Our Care):

$60 – Ballston, Clarendon, Rosslyn

$85 – Up to 10 miles outside Arlington

$120+ – Over 10 miles

$30 per 30 minutes – Vet wait time (after 1st hour)
Standard Medical Taxi (During Scheduled Visit):

$40 – One-way trip within service area
How Emergency Transport Works

Assess pet’s condition during the visit

Attempt to reach owner and review emergency instructions

Safely secure the pet using a crate or harness

Transport directly to the vet

Upload updates and a full post-visit report to your portal
