When Emergency Transport May Be Needed
If we notice a concerning change during a scheduled visit, we contact you and follow the emergency instructions in your client profile.
Examples may include:
• Collapse or sudden weakness
• Breathing difficulty
• Seizure activity
• Significant injury or swelling
• Repeated vomiting or diarrhea with other concerning signs
• Sudden disorientation or unusual behavior
• Other changes requiring prompt veterinary attention
If you cannot be reached and urgent veterinary attention is needed, we follow your signed Veterinary Release Form and emergency instructions.

$30 per additional 30 minutes after the first hour
Veterinary treatment and hospital charges are separate and remain the client’s responsibility.
How Emergency Transport Works
1. We Identify a Concern
We document what we observe during your pet’s scheduled visit.
2. We Contact You
We attempt to contact you and follow the emergency instructions in your profile.
3. We Secure Your Pet
Your pet is transported using an appropriate crate or secured restraint whenever possible.
4. We Transport to Veterinary Care
We follow your veterinary instructions and the urgency of the situation to determine the appropriate clinic.
5. We Keep You Updated
Updates and visit documentation are provided through Time To Pet.

Please keep the following current in your client profile:
• Preferred veterinarian
• Emergency veterinary hospital
• Signed Veterinary Release Form
• Emergency contact
• Medication and medical information
• Current home-access instructions

Emergency transport:
• Is available only for current PS4C clients
• Is intended for pets needing veterinary attention while under PS4C care
• Is not a public pet taxi or general transportation service
• Depends on caregiver and vehicle availability
