Pet Sitting 4 Comfort® (PS4C) provides safety-focused pet transport for medical situations that arise during scheduled care.

​

This service is available only for active PS4C clients and is used when a pet requires prompt veterinary attention during a visit.

​

Our priority is safe transport, clear communication, and timely care.

What Is Emergency Pet Transport?

Emergency transport may be used when a pet shows signs of illness, injury, or distress during a scheduled visit.

We safely transport your pet to your veterinarian or the nearest emergency clinic while keeping you informed.

What’s Included

  • Private, direct transport to your veterinarian or nearest emergency clinic

  • Fear Free Certified® handling by trained caregivers

  • GPS-tracked updates through your Time To Pet portal

  • Insured vehicle with crates, seatbelt harnesses, and first aid supplies

When Emergency Transport May Be Used

We may initiate transport if we observe concerning symptoms such as:

  • collapse or disorientation

  • sudden lethargy or weakness

  • vomiting or diarrhea with concerning signs

  • swelling, limping, or visible injury

  • seizure activity or neurological symptoms

  • allergic reactions or breathing difficulty

If a situation appears urgent and we cannot reach you, we follow the instructions outlined in your signed Veterinary Release Form.

Standard Medical Taxi (Non-Emergency)

Non-emergency transport may be used during scheduled visits when veterinary care is needed but not urgent.

 

Examples include:

  • scheduled veterinary appointments

  • minor medical concerns

  • safe delivery of your pet to your clinic

 

Requirements:

  • crate or harness for safe transport

  • veterinary clinic information in your client profile

  • transport authorization in your portal

How Emergency Transport Works

If a concern arises during a visit, we follow a structured process:

  1. Assess your pet’s condition

  2. Attempt to contact you and review emergency instructions

  3. Secure your pet using a crate or harness

  4. Transport directly to the veterinary clinic

  5. Provide updates and a full report through your portal

Important Service Notes

  • Available only for pets currently under PS4C care

  • Not a public pet taxi service

  • Transport must be pre-authorized in your client portal

  • We do not transport pets across state lines
