Our Community Mission

Since 2016, our involvement has focused on improving access to safe, informed pet care for families throughout Arlington and Northern Virginia.

Our goals include
• Making pet care more accessible, especially for Spanish speaking families
• Helping pet parents feel confident through education and clear guidance
• Supporting ethical rescue adoption and responsible ownership
• Sharing Fear Free Certified® practices beyond our client base

Where You’ll Find Us

Volunteering with the Animal Welfare League of Arlington

 

Steve regularly volunteers as a bilingual veterinary assistant at community clinics hosted by the Animal Welfare League of Arlington.

 

Support includes
• Assisting Spanish speaking families during appointments
• Helping explain preventative care and treatment plans
• Supporting low cost exams, vaccines, and microchipping
• Providing wellness and recovery guidance

 

By bridging communication gaps, we help ensure pets receive safe, informed care regardless of background or income.

Free Resources for Pet Parents

Education is a core part of our community involvement. We provide free resources to help pet parents make informed decisions.

Resources include
• Vet reviewed blog articles
• Fear Free Certified® pet care handouts
• Monthly safety and wellness tips
• Behavior and enrichment checklists
• Medication and wellness guides for senior or reactive pets
