Since 2016, we have provided Fear Free Certified® and medically informed in-home care for Arlington families who expect more than basic visits.

Dog and Cat Behavior Training

Our team has completed professional training through Animal Behavior College, focusing on behavior and positive reinforcement.

Training includes:

Additional education through Karen Pryor Academy’s Train Your Cat program supports sensitive or anxious cats in home environments.

All PS4C team members are trained through PetTech®, a nationally recognized pet emergency training program.

Training includes:

  • CPR and airway support

  • heat-related illness response

  • allergic reaction recognition

  • wound care and bandaging

  • emergency assessment and escalation

 

These protocols align with veterinary and emergency care standards.

Pet Sitting 4 Comfort® holds the CPPS designation through Pet Sitters International (PSI).

PS4C Team Training Standards

Every team member completes structured onboarding before performing visits independently.

 

Training includes:

  • shadowing experienced caregivers

  • live performance evaluations

  • safe medication handling (oral, injectable, topical)

  • Fear Free body language assessment

  • emergency response protocols

 

All care is performed or supervised by trained, consistent team members.

 

We do not send unfamiliar or untrained sitters into client homes.
