refill water bowls or confirm fountains are working

leave treats if used for training or enrichment
Enrichment & Comfort
Help your pet stay relaxed:

leave favorite toys (puzzle toys, balls, wand toys)

note preferred play routines in your profile

for anxious pets, leave a familiar blanket or item with your scent
Medications & Health Information
If your pet requires additional care:

place medications in a visible, accessible location

provide clear dosing instructions

update recent changes in behavior, appetite, or mobility

confirm your primary vet and emergency clinic in your profile

note hiding spots or visitor sensitivities
Entry & Home Safety
Reliable access is essential:

test keys, lockboxes, and codes before leaving

secure gates, windows, and balcony doors
-
leave a flashlight near entry for evening visits

inform us if others may enter your home (cleaners, guests, etc.)
Profile & Portal Reminders
Before your trip, confirm:

pet profiles are complete and accurate
-
vaccination records are current (if applicable)
-
travel dates and visit instructions are updated
-
billing information or auto-pay is set
-
a local emergency contact is listed
If Your Plans Change
All updates should be submitted through your client portal.
Portal requests allow us to track schedule changes quickly and accurately.
No need to call or text unless the situation is urgent.
