Make sure everything is set for safe, easy access and pet comfort:

Place all pet supplies (food, meds, leash, litter, etc.) in a visible spot

Ensure your lockbox/code or concierge info is ready and tested

Clean food bowls, litter boxes, and designated potty areas

Remove hazardous items: toxic plants, small chewables, glass decor

Adjust thermostat based on indoor temps (esp. in summer/winter)
Feeding & Hydration

Pre-portion meals or label food containers clearly
-
Leave feeding instructions in the Time To Pet portal

Refill water bowls or ensure fountain access
-
Optional: Leave treats for enrichment or training
Enrichment & Comfort
-
Leave out toys your pet enjoys (puzzle toys, wand toys, balls, etc.)

Note favorite games or routines in your pet profile

For anxious pets, provide a comfort item or worn t-shirt with your scent
Medications & Health

Set aside meds with clear, labeled instructions

Update any recent changes in appetite, behavior, or mobility in the portal

Let us know where your pet hides or how they respond to visitors

Include your preferred vet and emergency clinic in the portal
Entry & Safety

Test and confirm working keys, codes, or lockbox access

Secure gates, windows, and balcony doors
-
Leave a flashlight near the entry if we’re arriving after dark

Let us know if others (e.g., cleaners, friends, roommates) will be entering
Profile & Portal Reminders
✔ Confirm all pet profile details are up to date
✔ Upload valid vaccination records if not current
✔ Leave trip notes or alerts in your visit request or portal message
✔ Set up auto-pay or confirm billing info
✔ Ensure emergency contact is listed and reachable
If Plans Change
You can easily cancel or adjust visits via the Time To Pet portal. No need to call or text unless it’s urgent—we’ll see your updates right away.
