Christina Nguyen Completes Pet Tech® Pet CPR & First Aid Training

We’re proud to share that PS4C Pet Care Specialist Christina Nguyen completed Pet Tech® Pet CPR & First Aid training in Springfield, Virginia.


Before the hands-on class, Christina also completed Pet Sitters International’s Pet First Aid & CPCR for Pet-Care Professionals 8-hour online course.


For Arlington pet parents, this adds practical emergency-response training for dogs and cats to the care Christina provides.


Building the Foundation

Christina’s PSI course covered:

  • Vital signs

  • Head-to-tail assessments

  • Safe handling and restraint

  • Pet first aid

  • Pet CPR and CPCR


She then reinforced that knowledge through hands-on Pet Tech® training.


Hands-On Pet Tech® Training

Christina completed the 5+ hour Pet Tech® Pet CPR & First Aid class at Becky’s Pet Care Training Room.


Training included:

  • Pet CPR

  • Choking and breathing emergencies

  • Bleeding and shock

  • Safe handling

  • Recognizing when veterinary care may be needed


What This Means for Your Pet

During visits, the PS4C team watches for changes in:

  • Breathing

  • Mobility

  • Appetite and hydration

  • Energy

  • Behavior

  • Overall condition


Our role is not to diagnose.


It is to notice concerns, communicate clearly, follow established procedures, and help your pet get veterinary care when needed.
