When Travel May Not Be the Best Option
Some pets are safer and more comfortable at home.
Consider alternatives if your pet has:
-
severe anxiety or motion sensitivity
-
advanced medical or mobility needs
-
strong reactivity to new environments
-
no suitable accommodations at your destination
In these cases, in-home pet sitting is often the least stressful option.
Always Leave a Backup Plan
Even well-planned trips can change unexpectedly.
Before leaving:
✔ share your itinerary with a trusted contact or pet sitter
✔ leave written medication and veterinary instructions
✔ keep your sitter informed if plans change
